Projects & activities
In the world of business and organisations there is pressure. Pressure to work harder, faster, and be more innovative. These are recent examples of applying learning from progressive organisations that work differently to the traditional ways that we are all familiar with. Examples of our activities with those that are interested to reinvent organisations, implement systemic design, the liberated method, the Vanguard method, and new leadership and management approaches.
Workshops to build your competence
I have been designing and running workshops for at least 15 years. I see participants gradually break down their current barriers and embrace new ways of working, and begin their journey to bring in systems thinking and other innovation to their organisations. Most are happy with the general workshops, however due to popularity, we are seeing an increasing number of organisations that wish to develop their own bespoke workshops that focus on their specific context.
Helping Sweden to learn from the UK's public sector mistakes
Helping Sweden to learn from our mistakes with austerity in the public sector; and how to move forward with systems thinking and practical collaborative and person centred approaches. They learning from the mistakes that we are making in the UK.
We have partnered with agencies in Sweden and entered into dialogue with well respected thinkers and leaders in Sweden who are wanting to take the public sector in Sweden further and higher. They recognise the challenges they face in the future with service delivery and funding.
I have been helping them to refocus their perceptions and designs from one of tradition and bureaucracy, to one of collaboration and participation.

Designing digital to truly support the complex work of the public sector
Digital front ends and service design in local government can either be a horror story, or it can support and enable service delivery.
It is a pleasure to work closely with councils who take up the mantle of using technology to help and support their services, and engagement with people. Together we have worked to first learn about how their services and the public interact, and how the services are designed end to end. That then becomes the starting point for designing digital and non-digital solutions, designing something that works for that council, in the way that they want it to.
