Location: Specific onsite council sponsored workshop
Helping a local council to design a new approach to dealing with the most in need in the locality.
The challenges that we face today in the public sector seem have made working with people in our borough more challenging that it was. We struggle with the impact of austerity, and the recognition that systems thinking and person centred design has to replace service delivery and bureacracy. Using systems thinking to move away from a standard delivery mindset, and develop local decision-making as the norm.
How can a local council deal with a new approach to supporting those most in need in our society? This needs to happen through effective ways of working that embrace working and managing with complexity. And focusing on understanding and supporting people, rather than delivering standard servcies in the hope that they will have a desired outcome. This is about supporint people who need help to re-balance their lives.
Participants: Chief Executive, senior leadership team, second tier leaders.
